Walnut Trestle Table

A ten-seat dining table built from a single flitch of American black walnut, its grain matched across the top so the boards read as one continuous surface. The trestle base is joined with drawbored mortise-and-tenon joints and wedged through-tenons — no screws, no metal brackets. Finished with a hand-rubbed hardwax oil that deepens with use and can be refreshed at home for a lifetime.
